If you really are into the Real Housewives Reply to chance_mcgee13's comment Bestie Duo! you are always gonna find a pair of the besties you can't sleep on the importance of their role as they function in the group usually they become one of the most powerful units on the show bestie duos they usually defend each other instinctively they share information with each other first and usually they'll end up influencing the rest of the group's dynamics and in some cases once the group starts to recognize them as an alliance they start referring to them as one for example Gizelle and Robyn not just Gizelle not just Robyn but it's like a Gizelle and Robyn you know they rocking with each other through and through I don't always think that the besties in the group try to strategically be close so they can have somebody that they're in alliance with but it definitely does work to their benefit because when the besties are done right they are usually almost impossible to isolate whether a housewife is right or wrong in the situation usually they know their bestie gonna have their back I definitely think it's two types of besties you got the ones that truly do act as one Gizelle and Robyn Alexia and Marisol and at one point I would say Nene and Cynthia too like you know with them basically they gonna share the same opinion they're not really gonna be easily swayed to go against their bestie then type 2 I think is more of like the independent besties they're definitely besties and they definitely do ride for one another but they still do stand on their own like their opinions are their opinions and sometimes they may be swayed to go against their bestie personally I find this type of bestie due to be more interesting because though the ladies are super close they refuse to let their own identities get merged into just one Kandi and Phaedra Teresa and Jacqueline Vicki and Tamra and Lisa and Meredith Alliance besties people know they're friends you're not about to divide and conquer but the independent besties their loyalty gets put to the test at a point usually one of the friends wants more loyalty and the other friend usually wants a little bit more autonomy notice they'll get to a point of asking each other stuff like why you didn't defend me are you friends with her and usually this is where the friendship breakups come from I think the perfect example of how friendships can fall apart unfortunately = Kandi and Phaedra and they were one of my favorite friendship duos I really do think that they genuinely were good friends when the trust broke just a little bit both of them they just could not recover unfortunately we know how that ended another example is Teresa and Jacqueline oh I hated to see their friendship crumble too so definitely was their demise Jacqueline wanted Teresa to be more open Teresa is like girl I don't wanna talk about all that Lisa and Meredith are very similar to Jacqueline and Teresa which they came on to the show as besties already so glad they made it back to one another and I hope it stay like that rare that when the besties fall out that they can recover but when they do I love to see it looking at pattern recognition the friendships that function as one tend to survive longer and the ones that function independently within their bestie duo let's debate who do you think is the most iconic friendship duo which friendship breakup do you think changed the show the most i wanna know let me know in the comments
