Want to learn electronics? Two years ago, I couldn't even make a LED blink. And now I'm building my own drone with my own circuit board. Here's the exact path to learn electronics starting from scratch. Step one: Start with the basics. Before you spend a single dollar and burn down your house, you need to understand what's actually happening inside of circuits. I'd recommend Falstad, a circuit simulator that runs in your browser. It lets you see exactly how electricity super good for building up that intuition. Pair it up with a course on electrical circuits like this one, and you'll actually understand what you're looking at. Step two: Get your hands dirty. Now that you understand the basics, get yourself one of these Arduino starter kits. It comes with everything you need to get started: sensors, motors, and an Arduino. Find some tutorials on each sensor and follow so you get understanding of how everything works. Step three: Build something cool. After you feel a bit more confident, it's time for the next step. Make a mini project. Anything from a small self-watering plant to a simple car. Basically, just take everything you just learned and put it into one thing. You might start this might start looking like this. And here is where it's time for step four: Making a PCB. It'll help you clean messes like this into neat and compact circuits.
