a morning in my dreamland (except we're just thru-hiking 72 miles across the Sierra Nevada) good morning look at where we woke up this morning & today is day 2 :) 6:49 am there are actually bear bins at a lot of these campsites which is very luxurious just don't know how they got it all the way out here there's this deer at this campsite and while she looks so cute She's actually licking my pee right now and she charged at me while I was peeing this morning doing some instant coffee then for breakfast we just put some cereal in a bag and powdered oat milk finding the bathroom... OCCUPIED okay hahaha there it is hahaha oh my gosh we hiked about 17 miles yesterday our plan for today is to do about fifteen 8:03 am now that the sun is here we have to get in before we keep hiking 9:07 am headed to the next lake to swim :) I always have such a hard time leaving campsites like this cause I just don't know when I'm going to be back all the campsites are going to be good I've never seen so many wildflowers in my life I am just in absolute disbelief right now. I've never seen anything like this in the Sierra. 11:16 am mile 3 of 15 oh my gosh oh this water is ice cold I think I'm going to try and get in that's so cold I'm so proud of myself though oh it wasn't so bad that was definitely some of the coldest water I've ever been in we still have 12 miles to hike so we have to get going
