I'll ask nicely. But how's nobody talking? I mean, leave it to the Colombians. Wreck a hundred years of history. And I mean that in the best possible way. But this is like some sponsorship. Roll the tape. What you're looking at on the screen here is this year's Colombian national team kit for the FIFA World Cup. $150. Today, the jersey costs 35% of... $150. Quick economics lesson. If you're making minimum wage in Colombia, that's 1/4 of your monthly salary. Thank goodness for Aguila. The Colombian beer company decided to give fans a significant discount based upon how large fans were willing to print the logo on the jersey. The bigger the logo, the cheaper the jersey. And this has got to be one of the most genius things I've ever seen for two reasons. The first is that fans love sports because it calls them to a higher purpose. A brand doing the same thing would draw a similar reaction. As a brand, there's nothing better you can do than taking care of the people and places you come from. The second is that they figured out how to reverse engineer the media by meaning that fans paid the brand to advertise them. I'll be the first to say that this is enough to make any CFO have a stroke. But as I'd like to remind you all, to be ballin', you must be ballin'. So do your friends a favor and share this with them. And if you're looking for something similar and sports, comment skill for more.
