Hook
Turns out Windows is really watching everything that you do and there's a free button that shuts it up. What's going on? So Windows 11 on you by default. It sends your back to Microsoft. And shoves Copilot, AI into your taskbar, your notepad, even Microsoft Paint. There's even something called Recall that screenshots your screen every couple of seconds to log everything that you do. Now, it's opt-in now, people freaked out, but it's built right in. And of course, Microsoft makes it a pain to shut it off. They've got the switches they buried across a dozen menus, some that are so deep, you'd have to edit your registry where one wrong move can break your whole PC. So most people just give up. But there's a fix. It's a tool called ShutUp10. You don't even install it, you just run it. This thing's got every privacy switch on one single screen. One click flips off Copilot, Recall, shuts down the tracking that Microsoft turns on for you. If you see this, it means that and by the way, it's all undoable. But there's two catches you need to know. If there's a big Windows update, it can sometimes switch some of it back on, so you may want to rerun it now and then. So yeah, all the spying that you never agreed to, just takes a free download to undo it all. Not super hard to find. Also, can you find the follow button? I kinda need that. So thanks.
