Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
Back in January, when I first started this TikTok page, I made a video saying how much I've saved and invested as a 29-year-old first year Latina. I am now 30 years old and want to provide you a six-month update. In spoiler alert, the investments have grown by almost 100,000. So let's start with cash. I have about $69,000 in cash brought across multiple different bank accounts, Chase, Key Bank, Huntington. I have that many bank accounts because I do something called bank turnover. I have a video about it before this, but I essentially just opened them up to get the cash bonus incentives. One of my many side hustles. Now onto investments. I have about $470,000 in investments. My fidelity brokerage account is at $224,000. My Roth IRA is at $72,000 and this is tax-free growth. My 41K is $148,000. If you're not taking advantage of any sort of matching that you have with your 41 and your employer, please take advantage of that. I have 15,000 in a HSA account. So this is for anybody who has a high deductible health plan. You're able to invest into this account. It is triple tax advantage meaning no tax is going in, no taxes on investment and no taxes when you take it out. And I recently have two brand new tax loss harvesting managed accounts at $10,000. In January, my investments were around $371,000 and today they're at $469,000. That's $98,000 in growth in just six months and that's without me doing anything other than continuing to invest. So, my total net worth as a 30-year-old first Jen Latina is just over 550,000. I did include my car, my pre-tax that I just got that is $12,500. That's exactly why I do what I do on this page, all the side hustles, the bank turning, the budgeting, it all feet into these accounts and the market does the rest of the heavy lifting.
