I've been trying every matcha spot in Denver against what I had in Japan. Most have let me down, but this one did not. I drove 20 minutes to the Denver Tech Center for The Sen House and it was 1000% worth it. They hand whisk every matcha so there's no pre-batching and no shortcuts. I tried three different matcha, the Midori, the Senidori, and the Strawberry. The Strawberry was good, it had fresh fruit puree, but it leaned more dessert than matcha and it was a little too sweet for me. If you want the real authentic experience, you have to order it straight, you know, no flavor added. The Senidori was the absolute standout for me. It's a single origin matcha from Uji, stone ground matcha with milk. That process is limited, so there's only so much available at a time. They also have different matcha samples directly from Japan and are constantly testing new ones. Right now is actually a great time to try matcha since spring harvest means small batch matcha is becoming available. The owner, manager, had incredible knowledge and was just so friendly and I would 1000% go back. He actually told me that they're opening a location in LoHi this August, that's a little bit closer to downtown. You'll probably see me there every single week. So save this for your next matcha spot or just head down to the Denver Tech Center to try it for yourself. Hopefully this helps and thanks for watching.
