day 1 of starting a marketing agency day 1 of starting a marketing agency and how I was able to do that in just one month from coffee chats with potential clients to content shoots building on my brand and designing what I want that to look like even securing my first client and getting to go fly out to go see them Yes I was able to do this all in one month Let's start it from the beginning Day 1 was getting all the basics done So that means buying a new work laptop and the new MacBook Neo was really calling my name because the price point color and capabilities was just everything I needed for my new marketing agency So as soon as I picked her up I went home and got straight to work building a system that works and was clear enough for my client That looked like getting very detailed and tedious with folders of where every piece of content is going to live I will say that I started this whole process backwards I found a client first then started building out my agency I knew that this was something that I can see myself doing Next was branding and choosing a name that felt consistent with what I value the most which is community Think about it Have you ever discovered a restaurant or business or a new skincare line because of a friend recommendation That feeling of connection is what inspired friend of a friend marketing creating marketing that feels less like an ad and more like a recommendation from someone that you know
