She cooked, So I cleaned.

Y’all talking about “reciprocity” but who’s keeping score? Believe it or not, cleaning is one of the most relaxing things to do for me. Last night we ate a Nigerian soup with fufu. She’s off to school and I have the day off until starting my new job. Here’s how resetting my place looks: 1. I always start with the dishes - something about that makes my whole place look cluttered and sometimes smell bad. I use dish detergent like @Seventh Generation because it knocks out bad smells fast and gets my dishes clean consistently. 2. Clean my dining area - I use this space more than my living room to eat, study or take meetings. Organizing the chairs alone makes the space feel more organized. I clean my table with a glass cleaner actually 👀. It foams up and removes grease pretty easily. 3. My living room looks like a show room because that’s how I made it in my vision board. lol. I use things like @protectME Products and Scotchguard so my beautiful couch and carpet don’t get stained lol. 4. My stove - this is where the magic happened but when pounded yam spills, it can get really sticky. If regular @DawnDishOfficial doesn’t get it out, I use @Weiman stovetop cleaner to get it done. 5. Dusting - one of my favorite sub activities. 🤣 things like @Swiffer and @Pledge do the job. 6. Handheld vacuuming - I got mine on Amazon but the goal is the get a more powerful one from @Dyson or @Shark Home . Growing up I didn’t realize you could use this on a hard surface. 🤯🤣 7. Taking out the trash is a must and is oddly satisfying. Heavy duty bags from @Sam’s Club will work but @Glad will probably smell better but cost a little more. 8. My subtle flex of living a modern quiet luxurious life - my combo robo vacuum. This does the clean I missed in detail. Mine is from @eufyOfficial but other ones I looked at include @MOVA USA Official and @Dreametech 9. Almost forgot laundry - @Tide Rescue and @Gain Anyway, I don’t believe God has called me to have a relationship in pure reciprocity because, who’s really keeping score?
