I call it 1 x 4 cobbler and I've been making this for almost 30 years. You'll never need to refer back to a recipe card on this one, so let me show you how to do it. Start by putting one stick of butter in your 9x13 baking dish and pop that in the oven while it's preheating to 350 degrees. Then in a bowl, you're just gonna combine one cup of self-rising flour, one cup of sugar, and one cup of milk. Then mix that all together and set aside. Then you're just going to peel and slice your peaches. There's no exact measurement for this. I think I used eight or nine. Then once the oven's preheated and the butter's melted, pull that pan out and you're going to pour your flour, sugar, milk mixture right on top. Be sure you don't stir this at all. Then just add all of your sliced peaches. And the final ingredient is cinnamon. There's no exact measurement for this. I sprinkle it all over the top. After that, you're going to pop this into your 350 degree oven for one hour. This really is the easiest cobbler you'll ever make. If you can remember one stick of butter, one cup of flour, sugar, and milk, you'll never mess this up. And don't forget, you can substitute out the peaches and make pretty much any kind of fruit cobbler.
