The last thing I'll say about only wanting one kid is that it pisses me off when people tell me I should have another kid because my kid might be lonely. Respectfully, fuck lonely. I am not a baby-making machine that exists just to make babies upon the requests and desires of other people. I am a human being first and foremost, my life, my own desires. And it comes from the fact that I take having kids very seriously. I'm not just gonna have two because that's like the standard amount. And I'm not gonna just have another kid just because my kid might want a sibling. That's not a reason for me to have a kid. It's funny that people love things, they focus on all the things only children will miss out on, but not all the extra things like, every decision has pros and cons. Sure my kid's gonna have, gonna have two kick-ass dual income parents who love the travel and do fun shit. I think they'll be just fine.
