straightening my hair with steam * the easiest way to get your curly hair silky sleek straight is by using a steam straightener. I've tried this before and I actually really liked it but I want to see how fast I can straighten my curly hair. They say this isn't supposed to cause heat damage but I'm not sure if I believe that. Either way, we're going in with a copious amount of heat protectant. It's currently giving lines main. I'm going to set a timer to see how long this takes. We're going to do this first pass with no cuts. Wow. Okay, that's pretty good for one pass. For each piece, I'm going to do one pass over and one pass under. That took me a minute and 59 seconds from section number one. It took me 2 minutes and 50 seconds. My hair has never felt this soft and silky before. And since we sealed the cuticle with steam, it's apparently not supposed to get frizzy. We'll see about that. Look at that shine. Anyways, let me know what you guys think. Love you. Bye. I'm moving on to section number two. Just look at how fast this straightens. I'm not gonna lie, it looks a bit funky. My hair feels a bit funky. My hair feels so soft. This is no passes. This is one pass. And this is two passes. I don't know why I ever stopped using this. Before I move on to the next section, I'm going to always straighten the middle back piece of hair. Nothing worse than a curly strand at the back of your head. We're moving on to section number three and it's been 6 minutes and 33 seconds so far. I am pausing the timer while I split the sections. My biggest concern is whether I'll be able to get these baby hairs straight. It starts off looking greasy until you brush it through with your fingers. That actually did a really good job. One pass. Two passes. I'm not going to lie, I don't know why I ever stopped using this. It's insane. Genuinely can't believe I have no flyaways right now. I can't even believe I'm saying this, but it only took 16 minutes so far. And we're moving on to the last section. I find it's easier to take thicker pieces of hair because it puts more tension on it. Usually takes me at least an hour to straighten my hair with a straightener. So this is insane. Genuinely can't believe I have no flyaways right now. My hair has never felt this soft and silky before. And since we sealed the cuticle with steam, it's apparently not supposed to get frizzy. We'll see about that. Look at that shine.
