One of Abel’s band members Patrick Greenaway posted a story of him in the studio making the EVA song sample. Now he posted this story very recently along with other studio videos, but I’m thinking could this be them making the studio version of the song now or this was him making it months ago. We’ve seen other artists tease new songs with instrumentals on their tours too recently like how Ariana Grande has been teasing the petal title track and other new songs during her tour. Also Patrick Greenaway has helped in production for Abel’s studio version of his songs outside of just being his band member and making tour versions of songs, he’s credited on songs like The Abyss for example.
