It's officially one week until I move to my dream city, Los Angeles, California. So this is my LA bucket list. Number one, the beach. I want to be at the beach literally all the time. I'm telling you, Midwest girl, Minnesota girl, completely landlocked. I crave the beach. I want to be at the beach at least minimum one Saturday or Sunday at a beach like I'm going to be very disappointed in myself. So, number one, the beach. Number two, TV/film premieres and red carpets. I am a fangirl at heart. If there's one word to describe me, it's fangirl. I'm telling you, I'm obsessed with like TV and movies in a way that's just a little concerning. When I get obsessed, it's all I think about. I wake up, I think about the show, I go to sleep, I think about the show, I dream about the show. I spend my day like watching edits, scrolling edits, reposting edits while I watch the show or the movie or anything. Like, I am obsessed. LA is a place to be. I want to be at every single premiere, red carpet. I'm there. I will be 25 in LA screaming red carpet. Let me speak my truth. Let me live out my teenage dreams. Like, sorry. Number three, eat my way through LA. I am the biggest foodie ever and I want to eat my entire way through the city of Los Angeles. Specifically sushi. Oh my god. I am a little concerned for what my mercury levels are going to be, but it's fine. LA literally has the best sushi, so I want to eat my way through every single restaurant, especially crispy rice. Minnesota does not do crispy rice. Like it doesn't exist here. So I am determined to find the best crispy rice in all of Los Angeles. Number four, an entire touristy day. I just want the most touristy day ever and do those hop on, hop off buses, like the double decker ones, like the big red tour buses. I just want to have my starstruck moment in LA. I've seen them so many times. I feel like just doing the touristy things when you actually live there is like a whole other story. Like it'll just be so funny. Number five, enter wellness era / go hiking. I want to get into my wellness era because when I lived in Minnesota, I did live a sedentary lifestyle. I do indeed average get like 500 steps a day because I do work remote. So I don't leave my house except on the weekends. So I'm trying to change that. I hate hiking. I hate the idea of just like physically moving my body uphill. Awful. However, when I move, I want to change that. I want to suddenly be a nature girl. I want to be like a big hiker. I want to like take advantage of the fact that I'm back in California because when I was living in the Bay Area, I did not really do that to be honest. Kind of wasted the potential there because the Bay Area is so beautiful. But I don't want to do that in LA. So I'm going to use Butter to solve that problem because I refuse to do any of this alone. So with Butter, the setup is all about doing fun plans with new people and having the autonomy to choose what you want to do because like all these other apps you're kind of just thrown into like a big group chat or something and then you don't really get to choose what you want to do with. So Butter, like, doing fun plans with new people and having that freedom aspect. Especially because I don't know anyone in LA, using this app and then I can actually do things without having to sacrifice the idea of like, I don't have anyone to do it with. So I'm going to start making plans and meet people as possible. So I'm going to use Butter. Link in bio if you want to join. Because when I move and get settled, I'm going to start making plans immediately and meet as many new people as possible. I hope to see you in LA.
