MOVING FROM MN TO LA

So I am moving from MN to LA, Minnesota to Los Angeles, literally in less than two weeks, which is absolutely mind-blowing to me. It still hasn't sunk in. But one thing about me is I am a worrier. My current worry right now is what I do in Minnesota, like my hobbies in Minnesota are not gonna be the same in LA. LA's just gonna have like way more opportunity to do things that I wouldn't have here in Minnesota because obviously it's Midwest. For example, the beach. We're literally landlocked. Coming from the Midwest, being at the beach is something I really genuinely want to do every single weekend. Like if I'm not at a beach every single Saturday or Sunday, I'm doing LA totally wrong. But there comes my worry because there's so many things I want to do, but I don't have people to do them with. Like I'm telling you, I don't know anyone in LA. That's why I've been making so many videos about like looking for friends in Los Angeles because I actually don't know anyone in the city. And since this is a brand new chapter, I really want to put my all towards just making as many plans as possible. I'm telling you, it's always been my dream to move to LA, so I'm just so excited to do absolutely everything. And I found this app called Butter, which I'm gonna use to find people that are already doing these things because I'm telling you, the one thing I don't want to do is move and then just spend my whole first month sitting in my apartment doing absolutely nothing. I myself have moved from Minnesota to San Francisco back to Minnesota and now to LA. And believe me, I have tried every single app out there to meet new people, which is why I personally love Butter just because I feel like it's all about doing things but with new people. Like the whole setup is that you can make a fun plan for example, like coffee before work or dinner during the week or even something bigger, like making a book club or doing a pick-up ball versus other apps are more just like one big group chat or just like pre-planned events that you don't really have a say in or like who you're going with. So I feel like it's a little more fun and I'm really curious on how it'll be especially because it hasn't really gone live yet. So I kind of want to be the guinea pig for it. I just want to be able to look back and think about my first few months in my dream city and doing just as many cool things as possible and meeting so many new people as well. I'm so excited to meet so many new people when I move and obviously I've been documenting my journey about making friends in LA and everything like that. Also will be documenting my journey using Butter because I am just so excited to meet so many new people. So join me on this journey and we'll see how it goes.
