we have lost the art of how to figure things out

I feel like figuring things out is a lost art and that's a really big pet peeve of mine. Maybe it's because I'm the oldest daughter and I've always figured things out, but people who have the genuine inability to figure something out, bother me. Especially in a day and age where we have Google and AI and like, I mean, I feel like the world, not even to be cliché, is genuinely at our fingertips. And I understand, like, I'm not asking people to figure out like, general surgery. But like, just a little thing, we can't do some deductive reasoning. And I feel like people who know how to figure something out will go very far in life because apparently it is a skill.
