Y'all, let's tour some apartments in Chicago. Now you may be thinking, Sarah, you are always moving. Well, I'm 23 and I have no kids and I have the resources. So, I decided that I wouldn't go back to my home city of Chicago or maybe New York. I'm looking to get like a city vibe. So the first building we went to, there was no valet and it sounds very boozy, but I feel like when I'm paying 7k plus for apartments, there should be valet. But here's building one. I loved the finishes like the built-in fridge was crazy. I felt like the apartment was like okay, whatever, but it was the view that really sold me. Like just this whole like Lake view was absolutely gorgeous. They wanted about 7k for this unit. So I was like, okay, for 7k, the master was whatever, but the view sold me. And this building had so many amenities. Like I mean they had a golf similar, they had a piano room, they had pools, they had game rooms, but what really sold me outside of this indoor pool by the way, which I love was the gym. Like the gym literally gave we have lifetime fitness at home. They had a boxing room, yoga room, Pilates room, they had a spin room, a cycle room. It was two stories, y'all. Like the whole weightlifting session. I was literally so impressed. I was like, wow, all this in one building. I was just so impressed. It was literally two stories. Like I just can't go over that. Now, for the next building, this building actually does not do like regular apartments. They're actually condo, but someone decided to lease out there and I loved the kitchen. Now, they just moved out so there's stuff in here, but it had Tasha Hall in the kitchen, which is what I put in my house back in Houston. It was a three bedroom apartment. They wanted I think 10 or 11k for it. Two closets in the master. There was no lights on so you couldn't see, but this is all Italian marble in the bathroom. They had it in the shower. It was really gorgeous. Like I wish I could have seen it in the light. And the one thing that I like about this building is it's very secure. Like it just gives luxury, like it just gives I have my life together. So as somebody who has a home in Houston and I'm looking for something else in a different big city, I definitely want to have like something similar like a hotel vibe, something that just is very nice and luxurious to get away from me and I don't want to be next to a horse and cow back in Houston. Like they had a poodle's room, a dog run. It was just super nice. So as a girl who was born and raised in Chicago, I would love to return back to the city. But y'all, New York could also be calling me. So maybe when I go there a couple weeks, we'll look at some apartments. What do you guys think? New York or Chicago.
