YOU'RE STILL TRYING TO FIGURE OUT IF YOU HEARD GOD CORRECTLY OR YOU FEEL COMPELLED TO REPEATEDLY PRAY BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT SURE IF YOU HEARD GOD CLEARLY. YOU'RE CONSTANTLY TRYING TO FIGURE OUT IF THIS IS AN OPEN DOOR OR IF GOD IS TRYING TO CLOSE A DOOR. SO MANY WOMEN OF GOD ARE EVEN GUILTY ABOUT CHARGING FOR THEIR SERVICES. YOU ARE WONDERING IF GOD IS GONNA PUNISH YOU FOR ACCEPTING MONEY. OR MAYBE YOU ARE OBSESSING OVER WHETHER YOU'RE OPERATING IN OR FEELING THE NEED FOR JUST ONE MORE CONFIRMATION. MAYBE IF YOU DON'T FEEL GOD'S PRESENCE, YOU TAKE THAT AS CONFIRMATION THAT NOW IS NOT THE TIME ON TO FOCUS ON YOUR BUSINESS. However, for a lot of you, I don't think that's a problem at all. I'm Dr. Vanessa R, executive leadership consultant in wellness and business development. Listen, scroll by is mental health and well-being are not important to you as a faith-based entrepreneur. Many of you are carrying religious beliefs and thought patterns that are secretly shaping your decisions, your ability to trust yourself, even your ability to trust God. Your religious beliefs, the way that you understand God, is also shaping the way you make decisions about your business. You are constantly questioning yourself and doubting yourself. You are in a constant state of anxiety. And some of you don't realize it because this type of behavior has been normalized. You're still trying to figure out if you heard God correctly. Or you feel compelled to repeatedly pray because you're not sure if you heard God clearly. You're constantly trying to figure out if this is an open door or if God is trying to close a door. So many women of God are even guilty about charging for their services. You are wondering if God is going to punish you for accepting money or maybe you're obsessing over whether you're operating in pride. We're feeling the need for just one more confirmation. Maybe if you don't feel God's presence, you take that as confirmation that now is not the time to focus on your business.
