GO BIRDIE GO!!!😭🌊✨🥲🕊️💕 Yesterday she wouldn’t take a single step… today she was FLYING down the beach!! I finally discovered the perfect way to guide her forward, and once it clicked… she absolutely took off! Turns out this girl has a need for speed and she’s a bit reckless with her newfound speed😂 She even took poor Bodie out a few times because she was going so fast🙈 Also wanted to make it clear that she’s not going to live all day every day in the wheelchair now, that’s not what it’s for. It’s a way to give her a break from dragging herself around and wishing she could keep up to being the fastest one on the beach! Birdie’s happy, we’re happy, and this is only the beginning. Next up is x-rays, bloodwork, specialists, and continuing to give Birdie every opportunity to thrive! We can’t wait to see where this beautiful journey takes her🤍🐾
