Day in the Life of an Office Coordinator

Hey guys, welcome to another day in the life of being an office coordinator. I am obsessed with this cozy comfy outfit. Unfortunately, it's all very old and I have no way to link any of it. But I'll try to find some similar stuff and put it in my shop. My link to know it. When I arrive, usually the doors are unlocked because someone gets here really early to typically unlock them for me. But today they were absent. So I had to unlock the doors. I always find it funny when I say teacher words like absent. They were out of office today, okay? Then our breakfast catering arrived and we officially signed with our new caterer, so I don't have to plan the catering questions anymore. But I'm so excited about that. Drop all of your catering questions in this video and I will try to answer all of them. Now that I'm no longer planning the catering. Then we had a new employee starting today. So I had to set up their desk, which I can't show you because it has all of our swag and all of our logos and stuff on it. So I'm going to use this clip of me in a virtual meeting and doing some work to tell you about what we give all of our new employees. We give all of our new employees an instant pot. This was something that our founder has put in place so that everybody can participate in the chili cook-off. When instant pots first came out, he thought it was like the greatest invention ever. So now everybody gets one. I also give everybody a backpack, a shirt, a bunch of magnets and stickers and then any other fun swag that we have around the office like pens or notebooks for them. Or hats or leftover stuff from events. I also try to write their name on a sticky note or on their notebook for them. Like welcome so and so, happy first day. I feel like doing those little things just helps make their first day even more special. And then whenever they arrive, I give them a tour of the office, get them settled in at their desk, help get them set up with the IT guy because that's usually their first thing they need to do is get their computer ready. And then I always love to ask them if they want a picture of their first day either sitting at their desk or sitting up at reception in front of our sign. A lot of people really appreciate my enthusiasm and making their very first day at work feel so, so special. After this virtual meeting was over, it was time for me to do my coffee check. So I totally forgot to film me resetting the fridge and the snacks today. Then I had to run to FedEx and ship some things and I grabbed myself some Thai chili to go on the way back. Then I had to update my computer, which is always so frustrating because I have to close all of my tabs. And before I knew it, it was time to check the mail and go home. And yes, I'm still stealing Skittles.
