Did you know there's actually more to dog shows than just watching the breed judging? Here's five things you can do outside of that. 1. rescue booths! This is the section that has all of the rescue breeds. You can come see all the different dogs that are available to adopt, like, hang out with them. It's so fun. 2. barn hunt I'm explaining to Angel what barn hunt is. So basically, they have these rats, and they're in these little tubes. And so the tubes are like, enclosed. So it's like, when you go to the bank and you like, put the tube in, and it goes up into the thing. It's like that, but with rats. And they hide in the tubes in the barrels of hay. The dog has to find them. So they sniff around, smelling, don't, no, trained really, they literally just stay in the tubes there. So that's barn hunt. It's not open right now, but over the weekend, it will be. And those bleachers right there? That is where there's specific agility competitions. There's frisbee ones, and there's freestyle ones. And the freestyle ones are really fun that means that they can do whatever. They'll dance sometimes, they'll do little like routines with their owners. It's the best. I think it'll be like Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Honestly, yeah, I love dog show dude. Just dragging Angel everywhere with me. I'm like, can you come this way now? I'm gonna show you this now. Go over the flyball stuff. Flyball is past this section. We're going into the back rooms. You're going this way. The reason I think why they have this big divider here is because the dogs freak out. Oh, flyball for, get bark much. Oh my god. This is where the flyball tournaments are. Teams, jump, hurdles. They're going to jump over these little hurdles. Set ball, um, and grab the ball and then jump back. And it's a timed thing. This competition is my favorite thing of the dog show. For the breed judging, you have to be a purebred dog. Flyball, they have often breeds that can be in the competition. That doesn't matter, you know, what breed it is. It's just agility. So that's really cool. Can. That's cool. There are dogs that are rescue dogs that are like, stars at flyball. It's fantastic. For everyone who thinks this, elitist, necessarily. Lots of, even flyball competitions, like, stuff do. Have mixed instead, mixed something, American, "we're a blending pot" is fun. So over here is where they do the meet the breeds stuff. Every hour, different you, breeders will be here. They'll answer all your questions, tell you all about the breed, and then you can like, pet them and hang out with them. It's so fun. So anyways, this video is really long, but I love dog shows.
