Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
When Google launched their first ever phone, the Pixel, they made a pretty insane promise. They promised anybody who owned this original Pixel, they could have unlimited Google Photos storage. So like unlimited cloud storage. And the crazy part is, they're still keeping their promise today. So what people are buying old Google Pixel 1s and then they're using those as their cloud storage devices. Now there is a catch. You have to back up everything from that Google Pixel device. It's not attached to your account or anything like that, it's from the actual only applies to the physical device. So people are buying these phones. You can buy one right now on eBay for probably, looks like 70, 80 bucks. This one's 50 bucks. Okay. And they're making these old Pixels like their server for all of their photos. They get all the photos from all their phone, they'll gather all that, then send it to this other Pixel, then upload it onto on Google Photos that's on the Google Pixel 1. Crazy. Fully unlimited storage. Because of that promise, Google made like seven years ago. Now here's the thing. I have not tried this for myself. I've just seen what other people have done, but I'm super curious to see if this will actually work. If this video gets 10,000 likes, my 1, I'll try to make my server and verify that it actually works for you guys.
