top 5 canon events EVERY college student will experience

school starting in exactly one month since this is my list of top 5 canon events that every single college student will experience at least once in their four years at school. Number one. Freshman year, second semester, friend group downfall. This is probably the number one canon event throughout college. Like, literally ask anyone that has been to college or is currently in college. That friend group you make first semester freshman year, that is not your friend group. I promise you. When you first get to college, everybody is trying to make friends and I promise you after winter break, that friend group will probably be the one that you, if not, guaranteed going to go from 15, 20 people down to like 8, 7 people. Number two, getting sick without your parents. And I'm not talking about like a little cold or like a little sore throat, no. I mean like the first time you get like actual flu like symptoms. You are going to want to cry for 30 days and 30 nights. You might think you're independent when you first get to college, but I promise you, the minute you get that first illness, you're going to want to go back home. Number three, the hookup from hell. I don't care what anyone says. If you have been to college or currently in college, you have a hookup story from hell unless you have a long distance boyfriend or girlfriend, whatever. Your friends are most likely going to troll you for this for the next three years. Number four, this is kind of two things in one, but they go hand in hand. Missing your hometown and hating college. Your first couple of days or weeks or even months after college, you are going to miss it and hate it. It's a new thing, like you're adjusting still, like it's just going to be a whole new experience and you're going to want to go back home. But after your freshman year is over and you go back home for the summer, you are going to miss college so much and shit on your hometown any chance you can get. Number five, the internship crash out. This will most likely happen after your sophomore year of college, and if not, then definitely the summer after your junior year. And that word, internship, is the only word you are going to hear for the next two years. And good luck finding an internship because coming from me, I still don't have one. And it's hello. I'm just kidding. You will find an internship, but it is very stressful and you and your friends are going to be posting more on LinkedIn than Instagram.
