Things no one tells you about breastfeeding
A letdown can feel like pins and needles in your boobs.
Stepping out of a hot shower into cooler air can make your nipples hurt so much (especially in the early weeks).
Even your towel brushing against your nipples after a shower can be unbearable at first.
Milk doesn't come out of just one hole—your nipple has multiple milk ducts, so it can spray from several at once.
While your baby nurses on one side, the other side leaks milk (especially during the first few weeks).
If you squeeze your boob, you can literally spray milk across the room. 😂
Breast milk isn't always white—it can be blue, green, yellow, cream, or even pink depending on whether it's foremilk or hindmilk, what you've eaten, certain medications or supplements, if someone is sick, or sometimes a small amount of blood.
Which one surprised you the most?! 😅👇
