HOW I FINISH A SPACE

Here's exactly how I finish a space for my interior design clients. This happens after the furniture and the house have been installed. But we've been collecting this. I make a finishing touches plan for every room with everything we still need, like art, vessel, greenery, styling pieces, you name it. And this, which is the sourcing. I go home goods, thrift stores, online. Once I feel I lay it all out room by room and customize anything that needs it, whether that's painting a DIY, mood board, and reaching out to local artists for commissions. Then I try to organize the chaos by labeling everything that goes in each room and figuring out what we still need. This, and it's why, and it's what makes a house feel like a home.
