I was not the best kid. I was not the best student. I was always getting trouble. I mean, I got in trouble with the cops one time, but that's that's okay. I feel like it's a high school story. And yeah, so I was just going to get in trouble, bad grades. Like I got a DNP and it's because I didn't want to do anything. I didn't apply myself to anything. And so we have this thing called CTCs, Chief Technology Center in where I lived in Maryland. It's available to public school and it's for juniors and seniors. And you can shadow your stuff more in freshman year. So you just go two hours day and see like what you want to do, like what program you want to do. They have everything there. It's basically trade school for high schools. And I really like that because I don't think like I don't like when people force like the four year, like college or people. So there was welding, there was age back, uh you could build a house, I construction like and there's nursing and there's colinaria and thecology. I originally went forcology because I was like, I want to do my nails. Like it's just for me. I was like I wanted to learn how to do my own nails and I went and I found out it was just for hair. And I don't I'm very I don't like to touch other people's hair. I don't like to feel in a hair, especially wet hair. So I was like absolutely not. This is not for me. And my friend, well first I smell the food down the hallway. and I was like, oh, that smells really good. and my friend had just shadowed for a culinary and he was like, yeah, so like we made eggs and we made food and we got to eat it. and I was like, so I get to skip math next week and skip for like two hours a day and I get to eat food. Yes, like I'm just going to sign up. not thinking this is like what I want to do the like next next years. It was just like I don't want to be in squad, I didn't want to be at a desk. And so I did it and it was the day of a catering and because they catered for the school board and it was so hectic. There was like 10 million things going on at once and I loved it. I like fell in love with the hands on things like we were learning hands on and so I ended up applying and I got in my junior, so I did my junior and senior year and like the first like semester, my grades went from like D, C and F to A and B. Like I don't think I ever dropped to a C. That was the best like grade program. Cuz I finally found something I wanted to do and it was like I finally found like passion
