What is probate and why do people try to avoid it? Probate is a very expensive court process in California. If you pass away with out of trust, just a will, everything has to go through probate and it's a it's not a fun process for your relatives. Yeah, one for one. What is the difference between a irrevocable and irrevocable trust. Uh, irrevocable trust is a trust that you can change while you're alive and irrevocable trust means that you can't change it for a certain amount of time or until you pass away. Good job. Two for two. Uh, what is the federal estate tax exemption and how does the probability of election work for married couples? Uh, the federal estate tax exemption is $15 million a person right now and portability means that when your spouse passes away that you can get your your spouse's $15 million as well. Yeah. Okay, three for three. Okay, I'm going to give you some harder ones now. What is the different between the marginal deduction and bypass trust in a state tax planning. there's similar in that you when you pass away you're able to put part of your state in a different trust so that it's the boys that state tax. for four. Okay, this is the last one. What is a grant to retain a annuity trust?
