What do you do after you graduate? I'm a Master of Science in Business Analytics. Do you think you can answer five questions every business analytics major should know? Okay. Okay. Number one, what software is commonly used for data analysis in businesses? Python. Good job, one for one. What is the difference between descriptive and predictive analytics? So descriptive is when you're trying to do exploratory analytics and predictive is when you're trying to predict something using models. Yeah, good job, two for two. Why is data visualization important in business analytics? Because stakeholders couldn't really know if you just show them numbers, so it's important to visualize them in order to contribute to the storytelling aspect. Yeah, good job, three for three. Explain the concept of overfitting in predictive models. Oh okay, so it's basically like when you're training a model, you have like a train data set and a test set. So when the model studies all the outliers and everything, the noise in the train data really well, it performs really well on the train data set, but it doesn't generalize well to the test data. So that's what happens. Yeah, four for four. Last one, how can linear programming be applied in business analytics? Yeah, it's used in optimization problems where you need to like allocate what are the right set of resources or like where to place the right set of locations in order to in order for operations basically. Yeah, perfect. And now what are you doing after you graduated? Um, I'm still looking for jobs, so let's hope that works out. Yeah, thanks so much for your time. Appreciate it.
