What is your major?

What is your major? Electrical engineering. Do you think you can answer five questions every electrical engineering major should know? Sure, why not. Okay, I'm going to ask you five questions. Each one will get harder if you get it right. Okay. Number one, what is voltage? Voltage is the electric potential between two points, essentially. Perfect. Word for word, that was perfect. Okay, one for one. Um, what is resistance? Resistance is basically opposes current within a system and it's you can think of it as the reciprocal of conductance, I believe. So, two for two. Um, what is AC versus DC current? DC is a volt, uh, DC current is always constant, where AC, you have a mix of just sinusoids and basically non-constant current, essentially. Perfect. Three for three. What is impedance? Impedance is basically resistance just within the phaser domain and so includes capacitor, capacitor and, um, not, capacitance and, um, inductor, or impedance, basically. So, four for four. Um, what is reactance? I have not gotten there yet. Okay, that is opposition to AC current due to capacitors or inductors. So, you went four for five. Why are you studying electrical engineering? It's a good career and it's just what I, a good career and just what I like to do. I like making circuits and I like just exploring more of the world, so. Nice. So, what are you trying to get into?
