I hit a million dollars in net worth last year and as much as I like to save money, I also like to spend money. But these are five things that I refuse to spend my money on. Starting off with number one, first class flights. Because I can't imagine sitting on the same plane to get to the same place in the same amount of time, but paying three to five times extra just for a little bit of leg room, especially on domestic flights. I can maybe see the argument for an international flight and maybe one day I'll spoil myself. But for right now, I'm chilling in economy. Number two, a Rimowa suitcase. I think they look fire, but $2,000 for a little carry-on. One, you can get a dupe for a quarter of the price that looks just as good. But that suitcase just is not good. I've had friends that have it, it is so tight, it is so small, it gets dinged up. And I know they like to sell you on the 10-year warranty, lifetime warranty. The warranty sucks from what I hear. It really sucks. It takes weeks to get your suitcase back and sometimes they don't even give you a loaner. I'm not spending my money. Number three, bottle service. I like to go out sometimes, not too much nowadays, I'm a little older, I'm on status now. But spending thousands of dollars per person on alcohol at a table, you'll never see me do that. Four, designer clothes. Now, there are certain arguments to be made about jewelry, watches, leather goods, but designer clothes, paying thousands of dollars for a t-shirt that's not even full cotton or made of great materials. I just don't see it. Clothes lose their value immediately. Watches and jewelry necessarily don't. They can even appreciate. So designer clothes, gone for me. And then lastly, 5. Alo. Alo is terrible. Alo's 95% polyester. The clothes are already peeling, they're already wrinkled by the time you buy it. I don't know. Absolutely no.
