Do you guys remember when I made Prince Zuko's mug and everyone was pretty mad at me because I said no one was crushing I've been a zuko glazer since day 1 Hey I loved him when he had a single strand of hair NO BALD ZUKO SLANDER IN MY PRESENT season one Zuko, you know, the Zuko with his little silly ponytail I'm pretty sure the new Avatar movie is officially coming out in just a few days, so what better time to revisit where it all began Today I'm mugging none other than book one Prince Zuko, complete with the iconic ponytail I had absolutely no idea what I was doing here I just started hand building this thing and hoped it would somehow resemble Zuko's ponytail To make the ponytail lighter, I cut it open and carved out the inside so it's mostly hollow I also poked a small vent hole through it That way if there's any moisture trapped inside, it has somewhere to escape instead of building up pressure and explode during firing After that, it was finally time to attach the ponytail onto Zuko's head and move on to painting Obviously in this version Zuko is mostly bald, so the painting part is not that tricky Then I painted the ponytail, finished the little details and this is how he's looking so far Also the idea is to turn his ponytail into the handle of the mug So please wish Prince Zuko luck and let's all hope he survives the first firing without any explosion
