Entrepreneur
HE WAS 16 WITH SOME
SPARE TIME. TEN MONTHS
LATER HE HAD $150,000
IN SALES
THE START
Ethan Alexander invested $500 from his
great-grandfather's will to learn the reseller
business. He wasn't looking for the perfect
opportunity; he decided to just go for it,
starting with Walmart laundry detergent.
THE GRIND
Ethan drove to every Walmart, buying out
inventory and shipping it himself. He hit
$10K his first month. During summer, he
pushed harder, packaging until 5 a.m.,
making runs, getting home around 11 p.m.
THE SYSTEM
Ethan built a "rinse and repeat" approach,
using SellerAmp to identify products and
training ChatGPT to filter out items he
couldn't move. He tracked inventory with AI,
expanded and bought pallets in bulk.
THE NUMBERS
By March 2026, Ethan had hit $150K in total
sales, with his biggest single day bringing in
$2,000 in profit. He was 16 for most of it,
navigating credit card holds, taxes he'd
never done before and new challenges.
THE LESSON:
DON'T WAIT
FOR THE
PERFECT TIME
Ethan didn't invent a product or find a
clever niche. He saw something other
people were doing, invested $500 to
learn it and got to work. People spend
too much time waiting for the treasure
map, he says. There's an opportunity
in every single second — you just
have to pay attention.
