Why do I gotta make fitness so damn complicated? Look, if you're a little bit on the heavier side, you've probably been training like a bodybuilder straight for a couple years now, or all your lifting journey. You want to cut down, lose 10, 20, 30, 40 pounds, still have the freedom on the weekends to travel, get a drink, chill with your wife, whatever you gotta do. I'm gonna show you how to do it right now, very, very simple steps to put on, okay? Number one, strength train, three to four times a week. Anything over that, yes, you can still do, but it's gonna be hard to be consistent with it, especially if you're a business owner, or you got a lot of shit going on with the kids or your job, okay? Three, four times a week is all you need. With those workouts, you're gonna structure it. Number one, first 10 minutes, dynamic warm-up and mobility. Right after that, go into plyometrics on your leg days or a medicine ball throw on your upper body, after your warm-up to wake up your nervous system before the main lift. Two exercises, two sets per exercise, five to eight rep range. Don't be doing a bunch of super sets or drop sets. All you're gonna do is make it harder to recover and build up way more fatigue. You're not doing more by doing that, you're not getting better results, okay? Cardio, three to four times a week, minimum. If you want to get in the running, get into the master classes, cycling, whatever the case may be, playing soccer, football, you can do that too as well. I got clients that do that, okay? 10k steps on top of that. The steps is not cardio, it's completely separate, okay? Next, diet. Most important thing. You need to be in a calorie deficit. You don't need that much protein as you think. I only get around the 0.7 range of clients. The cheat code is filling the rest of your calories with carbs. That way you can still train hard like a fucking maniac, still get stronger as you're cutting down and losing weight, which I do and my clients do too as well, okay? And just make it a lot better to recover and not be so fatigued and low energy, okay? If you do those things, you will be in the best shape of your life in the next four to six months. This is the same recipe that I give to my clients that I've given to myself for the past years. This shit is not that hard. Stick to the basics, be consistent, don't miss a fucking day, and you'll be in the best shape of your life by the end of the year.
