But this is a closer look at the real thing than either of those. Now reports say it's a mid-engine all-wheel drive with Torsen diffs front and rear, powered by Toyota's new 2-liter turbo four with around 300, but up to 400 available in hotter versions. But here's the part I love: that cobbled together look that's just tradition amongst test mules. I mean, look at the Blackjack. This was the first ever mid-engine Corvette, and it had a Holden Ute front and rear with a C7 cabin in the middle, and it was hand-built in a secret garage. And Ferrari took it a step further to develop the Enzo V12. They took a 348 and stretched the back of it by 10 inches and then just drove it around Maranello.
