If you have an iPhone 15 and it's overheating, you're not alone. If you updated to iOS 26.5 or later, you are probably affected by this. If you haven't updated, don't update to anything else. If your phone is fine right now, just leave it where it's at. Don't update to anything else for the time being. Biggest complaints are, my phone's overheating while it's charging. iPhone won't charge past 80%. And my battery is dying really fast. If you updated your phone in the last two to three days, battery drains pretty normal. If it's been like a week or two weeks, that's not so normal. Go into your battery settings, check and see what your battery health is at. If it's at 79%, take it in, replace the battery. Your life will be a lot better. As for the overheating and the charging stuff, just don't use your phone while it's charging. If your battery's not charging to 80%, go into your battery settings, go into charging, you might have it set to 80%. Your phone's two years old. I would just turn off optimized charging. Set it to like 95% until you get a new battery. Your phone's done. This turn off your auto updates. It might be on, turn it off. If you haven't updated, it'll fix itself soon and until then, you should just ride it out. And if you haven't, but you want to, believe me, it's not worth it. But you're not alone. So hopefully that gives you a little more peace of mind. Thank you.
