If a small local business is me $30 for the same item, charge me $10 for, go with Amazon. And most people go with Amazon whether they like it or not. Gas is $4.40 at the cheapest gas station where I live. I'm trying to, other people are trying to save money. Right now, and I wouldn't shopping locally and keeping the money within my community if the small businesses didn't overprice all of their items for no reason. And obviously not all small local businesses are like this, but most of them are. If a small business offers it for eight bucks and Amazon offers it for five, I'll support the small business. If a small business offers it for $20 and Amazon offers it for $5, I'm not supporting the small business. I agree. Support small businesses. Business is open maybe three days, 10 AM to 2 PM, no weekends. Comments arguing back and small businesses are priced higher. I do not care if the bank account allows you the privilege of spending more. Knock yourself out. And I will shop accordingly. Be peer pressured into feeling any differently. And if you've seen most of the videos that are on my channel, you know that most people are struggling right now, and it's just crap that's been purchased off of Shein half the time too. But my local coffee shop and I'm going there on the weekends. We saw one previously of a boutique in Nantucket doing the exact same thing. And somebody recorded the Amazon listing and seeing how wildly overpriced it was in the store.
