If you see my hair like this, you already know what that means. I'm getting a curly cut. I'm getting a curly cut. The reason why I'm getting a curly cut is because yesterday I had too much free time on a scale of one to free will, I used my free will and tried to give myself bangs because I wanted more volume. And let's just say it wasn't good. So for here, the next day, I'm gonna get a curly cut appointment all the way in Long Island. I'm really excited because bro, I actually have a curly cut in a couple years. So to have somebody touch my hair again because the last time I had a curly cut, guys, they got super scissor happy and I ended up with a bob. And I did not like that. So I'm excited, a little nervous because I have all this hair. Sometimes this is overwhelming and intimidating for some people. But I feel like she's gonna do a great job and I can't wait. I do want bangs. I want bangs, I want volume, I want length. Can I have both? Let's see. The salon had a very clean, professional vibe to it. So I knew I was in the right place. And as soon as I met my hairstylist, she was not playing. She got right into it. She asked me what I wanted, like what I wanted, the length, the shape, what my hair goals. And I loved how attentive she was to the shape of my hair and the dry cut. She made sure to go over a couple times just to make sure that it looked good from every angle. And she genuinely did not make me feel like my hair was too much. She genuinely said that she loves having all the different types of curls, like it's her artwork. She also asked what styling products I normally use in my hair and she kind of went based off that. She used a leave-in, a mousse and a gel. She also styled my hair with a volume edge brush from Bounce Curl and a bounce curl. She was drying my hair with two diffusers. I was like, wow, the dedication is top tier because I know that was an arm workout. And here are my beautiful results. I guess you really can have length, volume, bangs and definition like all in one. I am obsessed. Thank you so much Madison. And I need to go book. Go book with my girl. She's worth the drive. I promise.
