If you haven't realized by now, I've been wearing my slick back every single day and my scalp is tired. I brought this bird's nest to her chair and she knew exactly what to do with it. I was right by Mount Prospect Ave and I will climb mountains to go to her. I don't care what she is. Do you see how good she was scrubbing my scalp? She has the most gentle hands when it comes to detangling. I was literally dozing off. When we got back to the chair, she said, let's see if the slick back has been doing more bad than good. And according to her, it has done no damage. I told her, cut off as much as you see is dead. And she literally cut off the tiniest bit. I was smiling from ear to ear in her chair because I was cracking up because we were talking about the white hairs that I'm starting to get and she thought that I had been pulling mine out, but absolutely not. I almost had a heart attack when she went to go pull it out, but then she ended up cutting it super short for me. We did roller set and I told her I want the tiniest bit of the flat iron just for my roots and she did exactly that. Then she put my hair into these little pink curls. Once we took them out, girl, I enjoyed the next minute of me feeling myself because when I tell you I instantly felt like the baddest bitch in the room. Hello? You see it? Now that we're catching up this entire time, I haven't seen my girl in months. So if you see me talking throughout this whole video, it's because I had to tell her my whole life story. Mind you, I'm admiring the hair so much, I said, go ahead and take this towel off me. Because I'm ready to show out. What is the point of going to a hairdresser if she's not speaking life into you? Maria is telling me that I am her muse. She said, I'm not that client that she could do whatever to my hair and it still comes out perfect. You don't gotta tell me twice. You wonder why I'm so loyal to her and why I love her is because when somebody tells you you got to be careful who you put your hair to, believe them. Not every hairdresser has good hands, good intentions, and a good heart. And trust me, if you put your head to somebody's hands who does not have a good spirit, your hair will not flourish and will not be healthy. I 1000% believe that my hair comes out so beautiful because of the genuine relationship that we have. Now that you've fallen in love with my hairdresser, I'll convince you to go to her. Don't stress her out by telling her you thought you were gonna pay $50 because everybody's hair is different, the length, the style, everything that you're doing to it.
