Are you intentionally frugal or is this just what comes naturally to you? It seems like you don't like owning things. I hate it. Why? I'm living right now. I make maybe a couple hundred grand a year. I own four pair of pants and like five shirts and most of those I stole from wardrobes on various shoots. I have a nice house but I don't I drive a Ford Bronco. I've driven Fords all my life. Well, in the words of Tony Robbins, I believe the more things you own, the more things own you. There you go. Where you gonna put them? And the words of Jerry Seinfeld is just stuff. You got a bigger house now cause you have more stuff. You gotta put your stuff somewhere. We have so much stuff, we have to go to private storage to put our stuff. We just have stuff. It didn't seem like you just listen to Tony Robbins. No, that clicked. No, I came by it honestly. That's it. I came by it honestly. My dad is very parsimonious. But the trick is comfort. If you have to teach thrift, if you have to teach it and you have to convince somebody right that they should hold their nose and endure it, that might work. It might, but long term it really doesn't. It's more like the seals, right? When they talk about adversity, it's it's not enough to endure it. You have to embrace it, man. You have to embrace the suck.
