It can be things like something that's broken in my app, but then often, I'm the one who has to tell Claude to go do something based on that information. but instead I wanted to essentially remove myself, so receiving the email itself would trigger an action in Claude. and this was actually surprisingly easy to set up. I picked which email address I wanted to give Claude, and then I logged into that email using the mail app on Mac. And then I set up a mail rule to essentially trigger a script when it receives an email, which opens a new Claude session and lets it execute on the information in the email.
