YOU ARE NEVER

You are never going to believe what I paid for this entire set of vintage 1970s mushroom containers from the Goodwill bins. I found six of these mushroom containers in the glass section of the wares. I rarely look at the home goods and wares at the bins, but something was calling me there and I'm so glad I listened. These are from Sears and Roebuck from the year 1978. They're almost 50 years old. They were originally made in Japan, which is so cool. Japan is on my bucket list of places to visit. These were originally produced in the 70s during the height of the back to the land era. I only found one container that was broken, so I ended up leaving that one behind, but I bought the extra lid just in case. These were really popular to have on display in kitchens for flour, sugar, coffee, tea, and sometimes cookies. They were expensive. I knew they were expensive, but I didn't know how much they were actually worth. So I looked them up on the SellRaze app and they sell for well over $200. I have five of them in perfect condition, so I feel like they might actually be worth more. This is the part where I tell you how much I paid for them. $4.28. That's less than a coffee. Still debating if I should keep them or sell them. A part of me would end up really regretting it if I do sell them because this was seriously a once in a lifetime find.
