These are the 5 worst credit cards you can get with the guy who works in finance. At number five is pretty much any store credit card. They offer horrible credit limits which actually hurts your ability to get higher credit limits on good cards. They also only earn rewards typically cashback at that, at the store they're tied to. A general cashback or points earning card is way better. At number four is any card from Credit One. Credit One's entire marketing strategy pretty much relies on people thinking they're Capital One, but they could not be more different. And if you say you've had a good experience with Credit One, that only tells me you've never actually had a good experience with credit cards and don't have a proper judgment scale. At number three is the Indigo Platinum. They give super low credit limits, a high APR and a $99 annual fee that has no perks that come along with it. At number two is the Mastercard Black. This one relies on people thinking it's a luxury card like the American Express Black, but it couldn't be further from one. It has a $495 annual fee with absolutely no way to make up the annual fee. At best, it gives you 2% cashback, which is the industry standard.
