Chase just made their best credit card better, mostly and they didn't change their annual fee to do so. The Sapphire Preferred is an icon in the points and miles game for a few reasons. It has a low annual fee, fantastic perks and amazing points earning categories that are now getting even better. Chase has added two new categories that earn 3X points. One is gas stations and EV chargers, the other is vacation homes like Airbnbs and Verbo. And this of course on top of the other categories that already existed. Chase has also bumped the yearly $50 hotel travel credit up to $100. They've added a global entry or TSA pre-check credit every four years, which is all you need and a year-long Apple TV subscription credit. Pro tip, global entry comes with TSA pre-check. So make the smart move with this one. The biggest change that might be the best to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it perks of all time is the emergency evacuation and transportation coverage.
