If cozy had a recipe… this would be it. 🤎 250 g unsalted butter, softened * 1 tbsp maple syrup (or honey) * 220 g granulated sugar * 415 g all-purpose flour * 1¾ tsp baking powder * ¼ tsp salt * 2 large eggs * 1 tsp maple extract (or vanilla extract) * Gel food coloring (red, orange, yellow, green) or what ever you like 1. Cream butter, sugar, and maple syrup until light and fluffy. 2. Beat in eggs and maple extract. 3. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt, then add to the wet ingredients. 4. Divide the dough into 4 parts and color each one. 5. Gently combine the colored doughs for a marbled effect. 6. Chill for at least 1 hour. 7. Roll out to 5 mm (¼ inch), cut out maple leaves, and add leaf details. 8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes. 9.
