I stopped going into debt. 1. I only borrow when it’s truly necessary and avoid making debt a lifestyle. “The borrower is servant to the lender.” — Proverbs 22:7 (KJV) I started giving consistently. 2. I set aside a fixed amount to support my local church and God’s work, trusting Him with my finances. “Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase.” — Proverbs 3:9–10 (KJV) I made prayer a daily habit. 3. Instead of worrying about money, I bring my financial needs to God and trust Him to provide. “But in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” — Philippians 4:6 (KJV) I read the Bible regularly. 4. God’s Word reshaped the way I think about money, work, and stewardship. “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” — Psalm 119:105 (KJV) I practice fasting. 5. Fasting helps me depend on God instead of my own strength and keeps my priorities in the right place. I choose gratitude. 6. Thankfulness reminds me that everything I have comes from God and protects my heart from greed. I set clear financial goals. 7. I make a plan, stay disciplined, and manage my money with purpose instead of living without direction. I serve God’s Kingdom. 8. I invest my time, gifts, and resources in what has eternal value, not just temporary success. I keep learning. 9. I continually grow in wisdom about finances, business, and life because good stewardship requires growth. I do my work with excellence. 10. Whatever I do, I give it my best because my work is ultimately for God, not just for people.
