So when I was a student, I was using my iPad for everything, from digital planning, note-taking, and even annotating during class/meetings. So you can go ahead and import your PowerPoints directly into your note-taking app and you can start annotating during lectures. This saved me so much time because I was able to focus in class and then take pretty notes later. And if you don't feel like taking notes sometimes, you can even get a keyboard charging case, and this turns your iPad into a laptop, which makes it so versatile.
