For a long time, I believed I was just one opportunity away from financial freedom. One winning lottery ticket. One viral business. One huge paycheck. One lucky break. But that’s not how lasting wealth is built. The truth is, many people who win millions in the lottery end up losing everything just a few years later. The money changed overnight, but their habits didn’t. The Bible teaches a completely different path. “Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.” — Proverbs 13:11 (KJV) God isn’t just interested in giving you more money. He’s interested in building your character so you can faithfully manage what He gives you. That’s why Scripture so often emphasizes diligence, patience, and faithfulness over shortcuts. “Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” — 1 Corinthians 4:2 (KJV) Financial freedom isn’t usually one miraculous moment. It’s the result of making wise decisions over and over again. Saving instead of wasting. Giving instead of clinging. Working faithfully instead of chasing shortcuts. As you grow in discipline, you also grow in the wisdom required to handle greater resources. Jesus said: “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much.” — Luke 16:10 (KJV) Stop waiting for one big financial breakthrough. Start becoming the kind of person God can trust with greater blessings. That’s where real financial freedom begins.
