Cubano Sandwich🥪🇨🇺 Tender, juicy mojo pork, smoky ham, gooey Swiss cheese, crunchy pickles, and mustard on golden, pressed bread🤤 All you need for Mojo Pork: •1 kg (2.2 lb) pork shoulder or pork neck🥩 •5–6 garlic cloves, minced🧄 •2-3 fresh oranges🍊 •1-2 fresh limes (or a mix of lime and lemon )🍋 •2 tbsp olive oil🫒 •1 tsp dried oregano🥄 •1 tsp ground cumin🥄 •1 tsp salt 🥄 • 1tsp freshly ground black pepper🥄 •1 tsp of smoked paprika🥄 • 1 small onion, sliced into rings (optional)🧅 How To Make: 1. Prepare the marinade. In a bowl, combine the garlic, orange juice, lime juice, olive oil, oregano, cumin, salt, and black pepper. 2. Marinate the pork. Make several deep cuts in the pork and rub the marinade all over the meat, making sure it gets into the cuts. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, preferably overnight. 3. Roast. * Preheat the oven to 150–160°C (300–320°F). * Place the pork in a roasting dish along with the marinade. Add the sliced onion, if using. * Cover tightly with foil or a lid and roast for 2-3 hours, or until the pork is very tender. 4. Brown the outside. Remove the foil, increase the oven temperature to 220°C (425°F), and roast for another 15–20 minutes, until the surface is nicely browned. 5. Rest and serve. Let the pork rest for 10–15 minutes, then slice it or shred it with two forks. Spoon the pan juices over the meat before serving. How to Assemble a Cubano: 1. Slice a Cuban roll (or a soft white roll) in half. 2. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half and yellow mustard on the top half. 3. Layer in this order: •Dill pickle slices •Sliced ham •Mojo pulled pork •Swiss cheese 4. Close the sandwich and butter the outside of the bread (optional). 5.
