Oh no, it's the first day of the hardest year of high school. All right, for the first day, I need to be dressed as good as I possibly can. And I'm kidding. I'm wearing slides. I don't care. You know, I would wear cologne, but I don't care what the girls or anyone else there thinks about me. So I'll stick with the cheaper option. Mom, did you make my breakfast this morning? No. Why is that? Oh, because if I'm old enough to drive, then I'm old enough to cook my own food. How does that even correlate? No, I kind of forgot that I'm old enough to drive. Probably because most of my friends are waiting until they're 18 to get their license. Don't be one of those people. Do you Jake, how many AP classes are you taking this year? Two. Bro, my mom was making me take five. And one of them's AP Physics. I'm cooked. You know what's interesting? I really don't like the sophomores at all, but the freshmen are kind of chill this year. It's pretty weird. Prom does sound cool, but I haven't talked to a single girl yet. And if it's anything like homecoming, I think I'll just stay at home. Yo, Dad, I think there's actually a chance that I'll make the varsity football team this year. What position will I play? Third string wide receiver on the bench, but that's all right, at least I'm on the team.
