If I was starting over, this is the order I would follow in order to achieve my financial goals. And for fun, I'm going to expose the status that I'm at for each of these goals. Step one, I would do everything that I could to save $1,000 and put it in a high-end savings account. This is so you can cover anything that might come up and not go into debt and earn a little bit of interest every month in the high-end account. I'm status on this is that I'm fully funded. Number two, if you have a job that gives you a 41K benefit, I would do whatever the minimum investment is to get the full match. This is literally free money. For my current status, I am currently investing 20% to my 41 and especially credit card debt. Those guys are like 20 to 30%, so getting rid of that is essential. I'm about $3900 in debt with my mortgage and I have a little bit of credit card debt just because I have a 0% interest rate PR period where that money is just sitting in an high-interest account so that I'm earning interest instead of the bank. For the sake of the expand your emergency fund to three to six months of expenses. As for status, we've about $22,000 sitting in a high-interest account earning us interest every single month. Step five, start putting money into tax advance accounts. For me, I always prioritize my Roth IRA, then my HSA and then my 401K. For current status, I have about $15 And lastly, whatever you have left over can be invested into a brokerage account. This account has absolutely no tax advantages, but you can take it out whenever you want. And as for my current status, I have about 79,000 dollars in this account. Anyway, that's the order I'm following to achieve my financial goals. I would love to hear where you are at so let me know and follow along for more. And those are the notes.
